The Customer Information Control System (CICS) is used by many University applications for online transactions that reside on the mainframe. The menu item, College Park - Online Navigation Environment (CP-One), provides application navigation. The chart below shows application availability but please note the following:

• One time or emergency changes in online service will not be reflected in this chart.
• Sundays between 07:00 and 17:00 is the mainframe maintenance window (used to apply fixes and upgrades for software and hardware). At times, it does become necessary to extend past their normal time.
• Extended service for Application Owners
  If extended CICS service is needed, the application owner (ex: Office of Registrar) can email itsc-prod-control@umd.edu with the date and time needed. After receiving the ServiceNow request, Production Control will coordinate your request with the platform group. Advanced notice must be given.
